This week’s National message: ICE Out For Good! Dismantle ICE and impeach Noem!
Background
2025 ties with 2004 as the deadliest year for ICE since its founding in 2003, with 32 people dying in ICE custody both years. Since Trump’s election, ICE has been escalating their attacks not just on our immigrant neighbors, but on citizens. Numerous American citizens have been ripped from their vehicles, pepper balled in the face, brutalized and taken into ICE custody, then released with no charges or trumped up charges like impeding a federal investigation or resisting arrest (which are frequently dropped in court).
For immigrants, the reality of ICE terrorism is bleaker. Hard working individuals are disappeared from their work, kidnapped at school drop off and pick up. The Trump regime has trampled on the sanctuary that schools and places of worship used to offer. He has built concentration camps across the country with our tax dollars. Families are separated, loved ones are lost in a system designed to forget them. Prisoners in detention are subjected to deplorable living conditions; denied access to basic hygiene, medical care and legal representation. They are then deported to countries they have no ties to.
On January 7 and 8th, 2026 : ICE agent Jonathan Ross killed Renee Good, ICE agents tear gassed students at a high school in Minneapolis as they were abducting 4 school workers, and Customs and Border Patrol shot 2 people in Portland Oregon. The administration then turns around and lies to the public trying to convince the populace that we aren’t seeing what we see.
Many of us have called and written our congressional representatives to express our outrage at the escalation and blatant disregard for humanity shown by ICE agents. It is time to say ICE needs to get out of our communities for good.

Call or email your congressional leaders and demand the defunding and dismantling of ICE and impeachment of DHS Secretary Kristi Noem.
