The No Kings Map is Live!
Hundreds of nonviolent protests are already planned for No Kings Day on March 28, and more are being added by the hour.
Exercise the Power of the People on Tuesdays from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm for as long as you can stay.
**Bring a hat, umbrella, sunscreen, water, etc. as there is limited shade at this location**
WHEN: Tuesdays from10:30 am – 12:00 pm
WHERE: East Lincoln Pkwy & North Broadway, SE Corner, Escondido (Where Hwy 78 begins, at the corner of the Toyota Dealership). Residential parking available off Lincoln Ave (alongside the Toyota used car dealership, from Broadway turn at the 7-Eleven). There is also a Park & Ride on the SW corner of Broadway & Lincoln.
WHAT: Now is the time to demonstrate the Power of the People. Join us in peaceful protest to raise awareness and encourage local constituents to engage civically, stay informed, and contact their representatives. Bring your flags, signs, statement clothing, and voices to bring light to what is most important to you about the actions of the current administration. Also recommend: water, umbrella and/or hat for sun shade.
We get many honks, waves, and inquiries. Showing solidarity will encourage others to stay informed and become more engaged as well.
Please follow all local rules such as yielding to pedestrians and staying on the sidewalks. We ask that you do not engage with drivers or other people giving negative feedback: start a chant – we will all join in!
