Hundreds of nonviolent protests are already planned for No Kings Day on March 28, and more are being added by the hour.
Defend Democracy protest has moved to Thursdays, 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm or for as long as you can stay, at the intersection of Felicita and Centre City Parkway in Escondido, CA.
WHEN: Thursdays 3:00 – 4:30 pm
WHERE: Felicita Ave & Centre City Parkway in Escondido, CA
WHAT: Join us in peaceful public protest during evening rush hour to take a stand and Defend Democracy in the United States. Bring your signs, statement clothing, and voices. Also recommended: hydration, hat or umbrella, sunscreen, sunglasses, etc. Please DO NOT park at the Von’s Fuel Station on the SE corner, but plenty of parking in surrounding shopping areas.
We get many honks, waves, and inquires. Showing solidarity will encourage others to stay informed and become more engaged as well.
Please follow all local rules such as yielding to pedestrians and staying on the sidewalks. We ask that you do not engage with drivers giving negative feedback: start a chant – we will all join in!
