Health care will be top issue in upcoming elections. Join your neighbors and friends who share your concerns about the state of healthcare in the US, and particularly Minnesota. Drastic cuts to vital programs like Medicaid, Affordable Care, public health, clinical research, and more affect us ALL.
It is easy to feel powerless in the face of it. We are NOT powerless. It does not have to be this way. We can, through education and organizing, help shape a different narrative and a different outcome for ourselves, our families, and our neighbors. This workshop will give you the tools.
–Gain understanding of the current health care system
–Discuss shared experiences
–Learn about power dynamics and how to impact systems
–Discuss implications of the recent cuts to health care programs
