🍝 Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser: Community for Community 🍝
This Saturday, January 24th from 5–7 PM, please join us at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Lincoln Park for a spaghetti dinner that’s about more than just a meal, it’s about showing up for someone who has spent years showing up for others.
Ashley Perry, co-founder of Indivisible: Downriver United 734, has been a constant force in our community. She helps people navigate resources, shows up to rallies and meetings, builds organizing tools, supports local campaigns, lifts up neighbors in crisis, and works every day to defend democracy, justice, and dignity for all. Whether it’s behind the scenes or front and center, Ashley is often the one quietly stepping in to help without ever asking for recognition or help in return.
Now it’s our turn. All proceeds from this dinner will go directly to Ashley as our community helps her bridge a difficult moment. Come eat, connect, and be part of what makes Downriver so special: people taking care of each other. 💙
