Citizens Bank: Stop Funding ICE

Please join Indivisible Lower Merion and members of our community at the Ardmore Citizens Bank branch at the corner of Woodside and Lancaster Avenues on Friday February 6th at 12:00 PM as we come together in communities across Pennsylvania to send a message to Citizens Bank and raise community awareness about Citizens’ role in supporting for-profit detention operators.

Citizens Financial Group, through subsidiaries like Citizens Bank, has long financed private prison and detention operators despite decades of allegations of abuse, neglect, forced labor, and fraud.

Companies like CoreCivic and GEO Group have caused widespread harm — including wrongful deaths, medical neglect, and exploitation.

Right here in Pennsylvania, GEO operates the Moshannon Valley Processing Center, the largest ICE detention facility in the Northeast, just three and a half hours from Lower Merion.

Please join us and others statewide to tell Citizens Bank we want them to stop supporting cruelty.

*A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
