Storytelling, World Building, and Establishing a Better United States

For a long time people told tales about going to the moon, then we in the US decided to **GO!** Our National Aeronautics and Space Agency (NASA) was established on July 29, 1958. On July 20, 1969 the first people, US astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, set foot on the moon and returned. Just a little over ten years from conception to realization.

I know things seem dark right now, but creators have the means to point people in the right direction, so that we can pass through the challenges we now face in the US and out the other side to a better world. And I do mean world, not just the United States.

We have to have clear and hopeful dreams for what can be. The clearer our dreams, the faster our changes can come into being

I am calling upon our patriot storytellers to join me for a talk on Hopecore worldbuilding. What would a United States worth living in look and feel like? What would we need to do to make it a reality? What national and cultural changes would we need to pursue? And how do we build these ideas into stories that inspire?

This is an extension of my Hopecore talk, but the focus is solely on world building. So many cool possibilities we can consider!

I look forward to seeing and hearing from you!

In peace and democracy,
Katherine
