Join the nationwide day of solidarity with Minnesota.
Friday, January 23 is a National Day of Solidarity and push for corporate accountability led by Minnesota organizers and national allies.
***This is America! Raise Your voices!***
***Where and When?***
Between West Ave & 8th ST on 50 in front of Center Lake Park – Clermont, FL 34711 – Saturday, January 24, 2025 from 10:00am-11:30am
***Why?***
Because this is America, and WE are Americans who want our country back!!
***How?***
Sign waving. If you have a Tambourine or any type of music, please feel free to bring it. Wear a costume – any kind of costume – they are attention-getters!
Please bring water and sunscreen. It’s in the morning so it shouldn’t be too bad. Plenty of public parking in downtown Clermont. You can park at the church if they have nothing going on.
***What Not To Do?***
If approached by counter-protesters, do NOT engage. Just ignore them. They are sometimes very difficult to ignore, but their sole reason for being is to “own us”.
You may be tempted to talk with them if they put a microphone in your face, but resist that temptation! What to do? Ignore any that call you name, that give you the finger, that oppose you in any way. If we ignore them, they will get tired of doing it.
*A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
Please donate to Lake County Indivisibles, if you can.
