Friday, January 23 is a National Day of Solidarity and push for corporate accountability led by Minnesota organizers and national allies.
Indivisible Worcester MD is extending our ICE OUT FOR GOOD demonstrations to every Saturday at 2 pm in Ocean Pines. 70 people came out on Jan 11 and 75 attended on Jan 17. We’re on a roll; let’s keep the momentum going!
This will be announced with other Indivisible events on mobilize.us, via email to the Indivisible Worcester mailing list (if you are not receiving email notices from us, go to http://tinyurl.com/indivisibleworcestermd to sign
up), through the Democratic Women’s Club of Worcester County, and to the Indivisible Worcester Facebook group. If we need to cancel for bad weather, it will be through the above outlets.
We have a limited number of signs to share on ICE and other anti-Trump topics. If you can, please bring your own.
Parking–There is a small lot near the Veterans Memorial that you can reach through the back of the Sports Core Pool lot. You can also park at the public library across Cathell Rd.
A core principle behind all ICE Out For Good events is a commitment to nonviolent action and no civil disobedience. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values, and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events. All events should be held in public spaces or on public property.
