Minnesotans are coming together in moral reflection and collective action to oppose federal enforcement actions that are harming our communities.
The ICE surge in Minnesota has already cost the life of Renee Nicole Good and continues to violate the constitutional and human rights of Americans and our neighbors.
We refuse to normalize this violence and are suspending the normal order of business to demand accountability:
ICE must leave Minnesota, the officer responsible for Renee Good’s death must be held legally accountable, no additional federal funding should be allocated to ICE and a full investigation into human and constitutional violations must occur, and Minnesota and national companies must stand with their communities by ending business relationships with ICE and refusing to provide space or support for enforcement actions.
