Pizza and Postcards

Two Harbors Breakwall is hosting a Pizza & Postcards night, and we hope you’ll join us.

📍 Emmanuel Lutheran Church
📅 Friday, January 23
🕔 5:00–7:00 p.m.

We’ll have pizza, community, and postcards ready to go. All you need to bring is stamps or a donation to help us purchase stamps.

Get your protest on.

This event centers on writing postcards to all members of Congress, Republicans and Democrats alike, demanding they rein in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

The killing of Renee Nicole Good by ICE underscores how deeply our rights to speak out and protest are under threat. It is important to remind people that exercising these freedoms is patriotic and that peaceful protest is a fundamental part of our democracy.

Why now

DHS funding expires on January 30, and a new bill is currently being drafted. We must act quickly. These postcards need to reach every member of Congress, no matter how blue your representatives may be. Even allies need this reminder so they do not fold.

These are very challenging times. Democracy has survived before, and it will take considerable effort to protect it again. Together, we can reclaim and rebuild our nation, a country that belongs to us all.

Together, we are much stronger.
