ICE Out for Good SOUTH KING COUNTY – MN Solidarity Day of Action

On Wednesday, January 7th, Renee Nicole Macklin Good, a U.S. citizen, spouse, mother of three, poet, artist, and beloved member of her community was murdered by ICE agent Jonathan Ross in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in front of her wife Becca. This murder is part of a broader pattern of unchecked violence and terror carried out by immigration agents against members of our community.

A broad coalition of groups across the country is calling for a coordinated Ice Out For Good action on Friday, January 23rd, to call for justice for Renee Good, to stand in solidarity with the people of Minnesota being terrorized by thousands of Trump’s goons, and to demand ICE and CBP get out of Minnesota, Washington, and everywhere!

Bring your eye-popping, powerful signs. Don’t have one? No worries! We will have plenty of extra pre-made signs, along with materials for making them if you wish to do so.

We will host this peaceful event on the public sidewalk in front of the Department of Homeland Security (ICE HQ), located at 12500 Tukwila International Blvd, Tukwila, WA 98168.

A core principle behind all ICE Out For Good events is a commitment to nonviolent action and no civil disobedience. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values, and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events. All events should be held in public spaces or on public property.
