The No Kings Map is Live!
Hundreds of nonviolent protests are already planned for No Kings Day on March 28, and more are being added by the hour.
Hope in Action Lancaster is focusing on local public officials one by one, holding them accountable for complicity with the Trump regime, or for their passivity in the face of this onslaught.
We intend to start with the Lancaster County Sheriff, who signed a 287g contract with ICE. We are looking to have folks contact the sheriff’s office regularly with questions and offering their opinion in a sustained, coordinated way. We plan to use phone calls, emails, letters, and letters to the editor.
After this campaign we intend to turn our sights on other local elected officials who are culpable in the current trend towards authoritarianism. Join us for our sessions.
This meeting is every 2nd and 4th Thursday evenings of the month. It is a collaboration with Solidarity Lancaster and Indivisible Lancaster Together, but all are welcome.
