The No Kings Map is Live!
Hundreds of nonviolent protests are already planned for No Kings Day on March 28, and more are being added by the hour.
Come join our nationwide virtual book club for banned books on Monday nights from 6-7:30 p.m. ET. With some members from Virginia, Maryland, and Michigan to name a few places. We have reached 137 people through our club in total.
Even if you have registered to past events and already receive the direct Zoom invitations, please make sure to register your email on future Mobilize events to ensure you are added to the mailing list for direct invites to the meeting which should be sent out no later than 24-48 hours before the next meeting. (This is also shared to our Google Group.)

We are aiming to finish a book that has been banned in some capacity over the years every 4-6 weeks. Currently we are about half-way through The Diary of a Young Girl – Anne Frank. The next on our list to read is George Orwell’s 1984.
The first 30-minutes of our weekly meeting we go over the section that was assigned to be read in between weekly meetings and discuss how it might relate to current world events. Followed by 30-minutes of reading out loud. All are welcome to take turns reading by using the “raise hand” feature in Zoom, this is not required but optional based on comfort levels. Finally, the last 30-minutes are spent going over the section read aloud and discussing it. As well as assigning the next section to read on our own.
*A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
