The No Kings Map is Live!
Hundreds of nonviolent protests are already planned for No Kings Day on March 28, and more are being added by the hour.
The fight over who will represent New Jersey’s Congressional District 7 is a key battleground race in the 2026 elections, with the winner potentially determining which political party will hold control over the U.S. House going forward.
Presented by Indivisible Rahway and OneNJ7, this forum is an opportunity for district voters to hear directly from the candidates vying for the position, all of whom have been invited to participate.
Rescheduled due to weather from our original February date, those expected to attend include all declared Democratic candidates: Beth Adubato, Rebecca Bennett, Megan O’Rourke, Michael Roth, Dr. Tina Shah and Brian Varela.
Republican Congressman Tom Kean, Jr. has not yet responded to our invitations. We will update this information when we hear from his office.
Union County municipalities that have been a part of NJ7 since a 2021 redistricting are Berkeley Heights, Clark, Fanwood, Linden (partial), Mountainside, New Providence, Rahway, Scotch Plains, Springfield, Summit, Westfield and Winfield.
For a list of all communities within NJ7, visit https://www.onenj7.org/our-district-nj-cd7
Doors open at 6 pm, event runs 6:30-8:30 pm.
There is free parking in the lots surrounding and underneath the library, though watch out for “permits only” signs in some areas.
