The No Kings Map is Live!
Hundreds of nonviolent protests are already planned for No Kings Day on March 28, and more are being added by the hour.
On Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 3:30 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Katie Yow, volunteer lawyer with the NC National Lawyers Guild, will give Indivisible Orange County NC (IOCNC) & our allies & community members a 90-minute presentation called “Know Your Rights.” We’ll learn how our constitutional rights rights apply in protest contexts, including:
– Phrases to use to assert our rights
– Overview of how we can challenge surveillance, anti-protest laws, prosecutions, & rhetoric about protests & protesters
– Digital security guidance & resources
– What happens in an arrest or court process
IOCNC will hold a short meeting from 5-5:30 p.m. following the “Know Your Rights” training.
