    On February 12, 2026, the EPA finalized a rule to repeal the 2009 Endangerment Finding, which officially rescinded the scientific determination that greenhouse gases threaten public health and welfare. This deregulation removes the legal foundation for federal climate regulations, hastening climate disaster.
