The No Kings Map is Live!
Hundreds of nonviolent protests are already planned for No Kings Day on March 28, and more are being added by the hour.
Would you like to volunteer for to help keep protesters safe?
PLEASE ARRIVE AT 11:30-11:45 to pick up your vest at the table at Nantucket Sound.
This a local *Indivisible event!
A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE DAY OF THE PROTEST:
Thanks for volunteering to be a safety warden. Please come to the table at the Nantucket Sound section of the rotary between a 11:15-11:30 to pick up your vest – be sure to return the vest before you leave.
We are not expecting huge crowds but we do need to be sure we are and remain safe.
It’s important to keep people out of traffic, behind the white edge lines and curbs.
Avoid crossing the street as much as possible.
This is a great opportunity for newer safety wardens to learn from experienced safety wardens. Here are some important documents and links to training videos – use as a refresher or to understand the responsibilities.
