**We have the power and are claiming it together. No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings.**

Queen City Indivisible, Burlington, Vermont – March 28, 2026
No Kings 3 – New North End, Burlington, Vermont

What began in 2025 as a single day of defiance has become a sustained national resistance to tyranny, spreading from small towns to city centers and across every community determined to defend democracy. Our peaceful movement is bigger than ever.

When our families are under attack and costs are pushing people to the brink, silence is not an option. We will defend ourselves and our communities against this administration’s unjust and cruel acts of violence.

On March 28th, rise up, take to the streets, and join one of the three No Kings 3 events in Burlington. (Each event has its own registration on Mobilize.). This description is for the New North End Neighborhood Honk and Wave.

Invite your friends and neighbors and meet up at 11:00 a.m. at 1127 North Avenue along the sidewalks at the entrances of the Ethan Allen Shopping Plaza (home to Hannaford Supermarket and many other shops). Bring your signs, banners, noise makers, and American flags.

As a warmup, event organizers will lead the group in songs and chants. Participants will then turn their attention to motorists passing by on North Avenue encouraging them to respond with smiles, waves, and honks. Our message: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. We’re not watching history happen—we’re making it. Join us. This joyous, non-violent honk and wave action will wrap up at 12:30 p.m.

Following the Honk and Wave, participants are welcome to proceed to City Hall Park to join the conclusion of the North End and South End marches.

*A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
