Help us keep our community event safe, welcoming, and organized.
Safety Marshals play an important role in making sure the No Kings rally runs smoothly and that everyone can participate in a positive environment. Marshals help with things like guiding foot traffic, watching for potential issues, and helping de-escalate situations if tensions arise.
All Safety Marshals must attend one training session to volunteer at the rally.
At this training, we will cover:
How to recognize potential safety concerns early.
De-escalation techniques for tense situations.
How to respond calmly and communicate with the team.
Basic crowd awareness and safety practices.
Roles and expectations for Safety Marshals during the rally.
We currently have two training sessions scheduled, with one additional training coming next week for those who cannot attend the first two.
No prior experience is necessary. Just a calm presence, good communication, and a commitment to helping keep the event safe for everyone.
