Local Indivisible groups build and wield power in ways that individuals can’t. To create change, you need the collective constituent power that comes with working together, as Indivisibles.

Indivisibles organize -- which means building power and flexing at key moments. Indivisible Groups take action in their communities, build collective purpose, and create change.

We make calls. We show up. We organize. And we’ve built lasting collective power across the country, in our home towns. We’re Indivisible.

We’re a grassroots movement of thousands of local Indivisible groups with a mission to elect progressive leaders, rebuild our democracy, and defeat the Trump agenda.

Ammar Campa-Najjar

State: California

Elected Office: U.S. Representative

Candidate District: CA-50

Reason for Endorsement:

Ammar Campa-Najjar is running to serve the community that helped raise him; for his family, friends and the thousands of community organizers in San Diego, Temecula and Riverside who said 'Yes We Can' in 2008 and 2012. Additionally, he wants to represent all those citizens who became politically active after the 2016 election, as well as those who are disengaged and think the political system doesn't serve them.

He’s running on his experience as a San Diego native, a small business owner, former White House intern & Administration official, writer and activist. From his first job in church ministry, community organizing for a presidential campaign, serving in the White House, advocating for small businesses in Washington, D.C., supporting underserved veterans, to fighting for the American worker at the U.S. Department of Labor, he has devoted his life to service.

Ammar went head-to-head in the last general election in a deeply red district. He conducted himself with integrity and dedication to progressive values, even in the face of racist and false attacks from a Republican party willing to do anything to beat him. He had a keen understanding of his district and the issues that most impact people. In 2018, he covered the large and diverse 50th in the way the people of the district deserved: countless town halls, living room meetings, party gatherings and voter meet and greets. He came within 4% of winning and this year we are excited to help him flip the district once and for all.
