Local Indivisible groups build and wield power in ways that individuals can’t. To create change, you need the collective constituent power that comes with working together, as Indivisibles.

Indivisibles organize -- which means building power and flexing at key moments. Indivisible Groups take action in their communities, build collective purpose, and create change.

We make calls. We show up. We organize. And we’ve built lasting collective power across the country, in our home towns. We’re Indivisible.

We’re a grassroots movement of thousands of local Indivisible groups with a mission to elect progressive leaders, rebuild our democracy, and defeat the Trump agenda.

Dan Ahlers

State: South Dakota

Elected Office: U.S. Senator

Reason for Endorsement:

We are excited to back Dan Ahlers in his Senate run because we know that he will fight hard for the needs of South Dakotans. Dan has been a member of the Dell Rapids community, where he has a small business, for the past 20 years. His time as a State Legislator gave him the opportunity to work together with community leaders to improve the lives of his constituents. There he fought hard for Medicaid expansion to cover tens of thousands of uninsured South Dakotans.

Now Dan wants to take that same dedication he has for South Dakota to the Senate. He believes in growing his state's economy - creating jobs, supporting agriculture, improving access to affordable healthcare and strengthening our rural communities. Dan believes a quality education is the pathway to success and achieving these goals. The people of South Dakota deserve someone who will listen, work hard and get results for them and we know Dan is that person.

Common Grounds Indivisible SD nominated Dan Ahlers for a national endorsement. If you would like to join the group or get involved, you can find them on Facebook.
