Local Indivisible groups build and wield power in ways that individuals can’t. To create change, you need the collective constituent power that comes with working together, as Indivisibles.

Indivisibles organize -- which means building power and flexing at key moments. Indivisible Groups take action in their communities, build collective purpose, and create change.

We make calls. We show up. We organize. And we’ve built lasting collective power across the country, in our home towns. We’re Indivisible.

We’re a grassroots movement of thousands of local Indivisible groups with a mission to elect progressive leaders, rebuild our democracy, and defeat the Trump agenda.

E. Thomasina Marsili

State: Indiana

Elected Office: U.S. Representative

Candidate District: IN-08

Reason for Endorsement:

Indivisible is thrilled to endorse E. Thomasina Marsili because the mission of her campaign is standing for working Hoosiers. She knows there’s lots of work to do: jobs now pay less than they did nearly 30 years ago, health care is not available nor affordable, and education has been demolished in rural areas due to vouchers.

Thomasina is a registered emergency medical technician who has worked in emergency services for over 30 years, and she’ll bring that experience with her in dealing with the coronavirus crisis. This is a public health emergency, but it’s also an emergency for working class America, the healthcare system, and public education.

Thomasina is dedicated to bringing higher paying jobs to the district through improving access to high quality education and apprenticeships, diversifying economic development efforts, and securing a living wage for workers. She will fight to increase teacher salaries, expand education funding for low-income and rural areas, and stop the privatization of our schools.

We know Thomasina is dedicated to improving the lives of working families in the 8th district, and that’s why she’s earned our endorsement for Congress.

Indivisible Indiana 8th District nominated E. Thomasina Marsili for a national endorsement. If you would like to join the group or get involved, you can find them here on Facebook.
