Few candidates bring a stronger understanding of the needs of low- and middle-income families than Jevin Hodge. Born in Tempe and raised in a single-parent household that counted on affordable housing to survive, as an adult he has dedicated his career to public service.
Jevin is a business and community leader, helping local groups solve challenging issues. He’s the head of Arizona’s oldest Head Start center, the Booker T. Washington Child Development Center, and has seen first-hand how early childhood education can transform lives and prepare kids for future success. He’s committed to making sure our schools are fully funded and equitable, and believes that skills training should be a part of our curriculum to make sure that students leave school with the foundation they need to get a good-paying job.
When elected, Jevin will fight for voting rights and fair elections, so that all Arizonans have a voice in government. He’ll make sure that every Arizonan has access to high-quality, affordable healthcare. And he’ll restore integrity to a district that’s been deeply damaged by the numerous ethics violations, misuse of funds, and censured misconduct of the MAGA Republican currently in office. The people of Arizona deserve a leader who’ll fight for them with honesty and dedication, and Indivisible is excited to endorse Jevin Hodge to be that leader.
Indivisible Valley of the Sun nominated Jevin Hodge for a national endorsement. If you would like to join the group or get involved, you can find them on Facebook.
