Local Indivisible groups build and wield power in ways that individuals can’t. To create change, you need the collective constituent power that comes with working together, as Indivisibles.

Indivisibles organize -- which means building power and flexing at key moments. Indivisible Groups take action in their communities, build collective purpose, and create change.

We make calls. We show up. We organize. And we’ve built lasting collective power across the country, in our home towns. We’re Indivisible.

We’re a grassroots movement of thousands of local Indivisible groups with a mission to elect progressive leaders, rebuild our democracy, and defeat the Trump agenda.

Kathy Ellis

State: Missouri

Elected Office: U.S. Representative

Candidate District: MO-08

Reason for Endorsement:

We are proud to endorse Kathy Ellis in this race because we know she is committed to fighting for fundamental issues, like access to healthcare, reproductive rights, the Green New Deal, and a strong education system. She knows that all these issues heavily impact rural districts like hers. She is fighting to ensure that rural America is not ignored and that people everywhere get better wages, stronger infrastructure and access to reliable Internet.

Kathy grew up, went to school in and has spent most of her life in Missouri. Her career as a social worker gave her a first-hand account of the problems that her neighbors were facing. She’s watched over the years as our infrastructure has crumbled, our jobs have left, and our healthcare access has become nearly obsolete.

In 2018, Kathy ran for Congress in one of the toughest districts in the country. This year she is once again running to represent the 8th because she knows she has the support of the grassroots and because there is still much worth fighting for.

A broad coalition of local groups nominated Kathy Ellis for this national endorsement. Please see the groups below and how you can connect to get involved:
