Local Indivisible groups build and wield power in ways that individuals can’t. To create change, you need the collective constituent power that comes with working together, as Indivisibles.

Indivisibles organize -- which means building power and flexing at key moments. Indivisible Groups take action in their communities, build collective purpose, and create change.

We make calls. We show up. We organize. And we’ve built lasting collective power across the country, in our home towns. We’re Indivisible.

We’re a grassroots movement of thousands of local Indivisible groups with a mission to elect progressive leaders, rebuild our democracy, and defeat the Trump agenda.

Marquita Bradshaw

State: Tennessee

Elected Office: U.S. Senator

Reason for Endorsement:

Marquita Bradshaw is not a wealthy politician who can buy a seat in the Senate. Instead, she’s a Tennessee native who is fighting for the seat the same way she’s fought for everything else in her life. We are behind Marquita because we’ve seen her work, and know that everything she does centers the needs of regular Tennesseeans.

Marquita entered this race so that working-class families would have a friend and a champion in the Senate. She’s seen too many politicians give up on the people that got them elected and too many people give up on a government that ignores their needs. Her career has spanned labor, environment, education reform, tax reform, trade policy, and social justice work. She is passionate about a clean and safe environment and is driven to fight for environmental justice to help the poor and vulnerable in society.

We know that Marquita will be a fierce advocate for the people of Tennessee in the Senate and we are proud to endorse her in this race.

Indivisible Nashville nominated Marquita Bradshaw for a national endorsement. If you would like to join the group or get involved, you can find them on Facebook or Twitter.
