A Journey of Hope: Global Speaker Series : Ask Me Anything from Syria

Threats to democracy are nothing new to many brave activists around the globe. Hear from people who have been through this before in different ways and ask direct questions of people on the ground. This is a global event not only for Indivisible US – attendees may come from anywhere.

The first event of the series will be Mohammed Kamal who organized mutual aid from the refugee camp in Jarablus, Northern Syria and helped organize a global human rights organization, serving as the director of Raise the Voices in 2022 and 2023. Mohammed is now trying to help rebuild a peaceful civil society in Syria, which is no easy task! He will give a short background take all questions.

Lets connect directly as humans across this earth, and see how we can help support and learn from each other.

This a local Indivisible event!

*A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
