# IEB Adopt a Corner at Home Depot
## Defend Immigrants and Our Communities
IEB is working with Street Level Health Project and the Immigrant Defense Committee in Fruitvale to support Adopt a Day Labor Corner.
Now is the time to show up for our neighbors by joining IEB’s Adopt a Corner Team at Home Depot in Oakland. We provide you with training and orientation and we ask you to volunteer one 2-hour shift per week.
ICE has been conducting raids at Home Depot stores across the country. Day laborers are the most vulnerable immigrants, risking their freedom to look for work and feed their families.
Showing up for Adopt a Day Labor Corner is an important and challenging opportunity to support immigrants who risk ICE abductions, deportation and family separation. Our presence at Home Depot can make a difference.
