The No Kings Map is Live!
Hundreds of nonviolent protests are already planned for No Kings Day on March 28, and more are being added by the hour.
Join Tempe Rising Indivisible for an educational and advocacy-focused day at the heart of Arizona’s government! We have secured a guided tour of the Arizona Capitol Museum, followed by an exclusive look into the legislative process.
We will be wearing our Turquoise Tempe Rising Indivisible T-shirts with pride—keep an eye out for the turquoise sea to find our group!
Don’t have a Tempe Rising T-shirt? No problem! You can purchase a turquoise shirt from the back of Madam Prez’s car at Brick Road Coffee before we head out. Grab one and match the team for our Capitol visit!
How to Meet Us
We have two options for connecting with the group:
Option 1: Meet at Brick Road Coffee (Carpool & T-Shirt Sales)
Meet us in the parking lot of Brick Road Coffee (4415 S Rural Rd, Tempe). Look for the turquoise shirts and Madam Prez’s car to buy your tee! We will be departing the parking lot promptly at 10:15 AM to head to the Capitol together.
Option 2: Meet at the Capitol
If you prefer to drive yourself, meet the group at the Arizona Capitol Museum entrance at 10:45 AM (1700 W Washington St, Phoenix).
Event Schedule
11:00 AM: Guided Museum Tour (Focusing on Arizona history and government)
11:45 AM: Legislative Tour (A visit to the House or Senate public galleries for a briefing on the legislative process)
Important Notes
Punctuality: The museum schedules tours consecutively. We must arrive 15 minutes early (10:45 AM) to ensure we don’t lose our slot.
Preparation: Please review the “Field Trip” attachments provided in your confirmation email prior to arrival.
Post-Tour: After our formal tours, feel free to stay and explore the remaining museum exhibits or walk through the monuments at Wesley Bolin Plaza across the street.
