Banned Book – Book Club

Join us each week to take turns reading from potentially banned books or books that teach about fighting fascists regimes. The events will be weekly and held over Zoom, those without internet access can call in as well. Please just contact us for more details if you need to call in. The Zoom meeting will be open for 1½ hours in order to allow time for us to read a section from the current book and then discuss it and how it might relate to current events happening in our country. The events will be recorded so if you miss it you can ask for a copy of the recording and I will make sure it gets to you.

Our first book that we will be reading from is A Diary of a Young Girl – Anne Frank The Definitive Edition. If you need a copy or a link to a digital copy, please let me know and I’ll make sure it gets to you.

For now the meetings are scheduled for Mondays from 6pm to 7:30pm, this may change depending on how available others might be. As always if you have any suggestions or comments, please feel free to reach out to me. I’m always looking for ways to improve.

*A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
