Bridge Brigade – Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 11 am to 1 pm
Join friends on Saturdays (11 am-1 pm) and Wednesdays (3-5 pm) to celebrate democracy and defend our first amendment rights. We post large signs each week on the pedestrian bridge over East Washington Ave in Madison, WI. We wave flags, sit (bring a chair) or stand. We bring the signs, banners, and flags. You bring yourself, a water bottle, and your commitment to making a difference.

DIRECTIONS: The address of the entrance to the bridge is 3059 E. Washington Avenue. Madison, WI 53704. The bridge can be accessed by taking Exit 1B from Hwy 30W N Fair Oaks Ave in Madison, turning left under Hwy 30 and taking the first right on Commercial Avenue. Take Commercial 0.6 miles to the dead end and park on the side in front of Wisconsin Auto Title Loans, Inc. You will pass the Department of Corrections Big Office. The bridge entrance is visible there.
