NW Denver has amazing people going out to talk with local businesses to let them know that we care about our immigrant neighbors. We share information with business owners, managers & employees about constitutional rights and self-protection should they face ICE raids.
This event is oriented towards trained canvassers. Please bring your own flyers and let us know if you need laminated signs or Red Cards.
This work is best done in pairs or small groups where we know each other. We invite you to meet with us to start the day with coffee and then go canvassing nearby businesses.
We will meet near W 20th Ave. and Depew St. at a local business at 9:30 AM where we will purchase our own coffee and snacks and spend about 30 minutes getting to know each other. You’ll receive suggestions for a couple of nearby commercial areas to canvass.
After canvassing we will meet at 12:00 noon at the Edge Art Gallery 6501 W. Colfax Ave., Lakewood, CO. for a debrief and to view an art installation on immigration by one of our members.
