Join the nationwide day of solidarity with Minnesota.
Friday, January 23 is a National Day of Solidarity and push for corporate accountability led by Minnesota organizers and national allies.
When it comes to the future of Stanly County, no one knows the needs, challenges, and op-portunities better than the people who live them every day. That’s why community input isn’t just valuable, it’s essential.
Whether it’s about public education, community growth and development, healthcare access, affordable housing, or small business resources, the people most affected by these issues must be at the center of the conversation.
Join Indivisible Uwharrie for our first-ever Community Conversation. An open, honest space where your experiences, concerns, and ideas take priority.
There will be no presentation, no speech, and no long lecture. Just real listening. This is your space to speak, share, and be heard.
Our goal is simple: to listen deeply and take what we hear directly to local officials, so that the voices of everyday residents shape the decisions that impact us all.
Far too often, decisions in local government are made without truly hearing from those they affect. This session is about changing that.
-If you’re a parent navigating our public school system
-A small business owner trying to thrive
-A neighbor facing housing challenges
-Or someone who cares about the roads, health access, or community wellbeing
We want to hear from you. Come As You Are. Bring your thoughts, your experiences, your questions, even your frustrations. This is a space for all of it.
Together, we can ensure our local leaders aren’t just making decisions for us, but with us.
Mark your calendar for September 23rd. Let’s make our voices impossible to ignore. Follow us on Facebook for updates on time and location. Email us with questions or to get involved or click here to volunteer!
