Join the Signs of Solidarity team to canvass local businesses, and ask them to post signs of support for our immigrant neighbors.
There’s been a significant increase in ICE agents entering small businesses without warrants and detaining people, including workers. It’s created an environment where immigrants are often afraid to go to work or go shopping out of fear that ICE might show up. That’s not how anyone in our community wants to live. Businesses should take steps to protect their workers and customers from these increasingly violent raids.
No experience is necessary. A script is provided and a packet of signs; please bring a bag to carry them. You will receive a brief training and will be paired with an experienced canvasser. Please join us and and help to be part of the solution!
