Join Indivisible Turning the Tables for an evening of crafting and community with a focus on craftivism, which Wikipedia defines as “a contemporary form of activism that uses craft as its primary mode for political and social engagement.” Bring your own projects or use some of the supplies and inspiration we will provide.
We will also be discussing plans for the March 8 Angry Knit-In in Washington DC, including:
– Knitting instruction for people who want to learn
– Ideas for collaborative projects
– Plans for getting to the event and/or meeting up at the event
You don’t have to commit to the March 8 event to join us this evening, but you can check out the links below if you want more information.
