The No Kings Map is Live!
Hundreds of nonviolent protests are already planned for No Kings Day on March 28, and more are being added by the hour.
A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events. We believe that safety and de-escalation is every participants’ responsibility.
We feel it is important to train and provide tools for all community members to de-escalate potential conflict at protests. Come and learn some tools of de-escalation. There will be time to role play with your fellow neighbors to practice these skills.
Set up and social time will start at 5:00pm. Training session will begin at 5:30pm.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO NOT PARK IN THE GARAGE.
