De-ICE CITIZENS BANK is a nationwide effort to send a message to Citizens Bank and raise awareness in our communities about Citizen’s role in supporting for-profit detention operators.
Citizens Bank, through Citizens Financial Group, has long financed private prison operators like The GEO Group. Despite decades of abuse, neglect, and exploitation and even after other financial institutions cut ties with The GEO Group, Citizens Bank continues to loan them money. Right here in PA, GEO runs the Moshannon Valley Processing Center, the largest ICE detention site in the Northeast.
Join us to shine a light on the Moshannon Valley Processing Center and to demand that Citizens Bank stop funding cruelty. Meet us on the roadside in front of the bank. We will have signs and flyers for you. Feel free to bring flags and other patriotic bling. We recommend parking across the street in one of the many large lots for other businesses.
