During its monthly meetings, this team works to: 1) Identify possible candidates for upcoming elections 2) Engage and evaluate candidates’ positions and progressive values 3) Introduce IJR membership to progressive candidates that are aligned with its values. Our overall aim is to develop a stronger, better and more visible pool of progressive candidates for public office.
We are a new team. We welcome you to join us. All are welcome. Many of our members are from the Riverside area, but all are welcome.
We are exploring candidates for any upcoming public office whether it be city, county, state or federal and would love to hear who you think our community should learn more about.
This team is a part of Indivisible JAX Riverside (IJR), a non-partisan, grassroots organization focused on building a more inclusive and progressive democracy. IJR engages local activists, builds coalitions and advances progressive policies and candidates.
