    This a local Indivisible event!

Join Indivisible Fox Valley for Movie Night!! As we head into the midterm election, we will hosting a screening of Democracy Under Siege. This 2025 documentary directed by Laura Nix, uses the sharp, witty political cartoons of Pulitzer Prize–winning editorial cartoonist Ann Telnaes to examine the deep structural challenges facing American democracy. Through commentary from leading political analysts, the film traces how constitutional roadblocks, executive overreach, judicial ethics crises, and widespread disinformation have shaped today’s political landscape. It connects current threats to their historical roots and raises a central question: Can the United States preserve its democratic ideals amid polarization and rising extremism?
October 15th at Appleton Public Library, first floor Cornerstone Room. Doors open at 6:00, movie starts promptly at 6:30. Popcorn and refreshments provided!!
