The No Kings Map is Live!
Hundreds of nonviolent protests are already planned for No Kings Day on March 28, and more are being added by the hour.
A broad coalition of organizations (listed below) have come together to call on Governor Mike Braun to End ICE Detention at the Miami Correctional Facility.
Approximately 600 ICE detainees are being held at this prison under terrible conditions. Many ICE detainees are being held unconstitutionally but lack the resources to hire an attorney to represent them in federal court. Over 70% of ICE detainees have no criminal record and over 95% of ICE detainees have never been accused of a violent crime.
Hoosiers believe in the importance of family. Our state must stop contributing to the unnecessary and cruel separation of families and traumatization of children.
We will gather at Common Ground Midtown church at 4pm on Sunday, February 22nd. The address is 4550 N. Illinois Street. There will be a short program to center everyone on the meaning and tone of this public witness action. We will then proceed to the Governor’s Mansion, one block east at 46th and N. Meridian Street, with chanting and song at approximately 4:45pm and will remain until 6:00pm.
