  • Get Ready for No Kings! Safety, De-Escalation & Non-Violence Training.

This event is hosted by an individual group or partner org and not vetted by Indivisible National.

It’s time to get ready for what looks to be largest mass mobilization in American history–No Kings on March 28th!

Join members of Four Rivers Indivisible for an informative and social midday potluck lunch. After a short 30 minute lunch we will cover important topics with speakers from the group. Some of the topics will have material repeated from our recent meet up on January 22nd but most with some new material added. Meet our Safety Lead and some members of the Safety team and learn about the safety planning for the 28th and important tips for protest participants including the importance of de-escalation of interpersonal conflicts and being prepared. Further resources for study such as Know Your Rights and upcoming Safety and De-escalation national trainings will be shared to all who sign up.

Other topics include Non-violence philosophy and principles and the history of non-violence in America, along with the necessity for non-violent strategies and tactics. A guided meditation activity will close the meeting for those who wish to participate in it.

There will also be opportunity for Q & A so if you have questions, here is your opportunity!

Materials to help promote the No Kings-Paducah event on the 28th such as flyers and buttons will be available.

VISUAL ART PROJECT for No Kings March 28th. Calling all visual artists! If you are interested in participating in a visual art event creating protest art for No Kings March 28th, please select “Contact Organization” and let the organizer know.
