Join the nationwide day of solidarity with Minnesota.
Friday, January 23 is a National Day of Solidarity and push for corporate accountability led by Minnesota organizers and national allies.
Lakewood Indivisible is asking community members from Lakewood and local cities to join us at our 1/27 city council meeting to urge the city council not to continue the contract with Flock and reiterate the direct impact Flock is having on Lakewood residents. If you are a Lakewood resident, we are asking you to sign up to speak during the public commentary at the end of the meeting.
Be sure to sign your name on the city’s roster before the meeting starts. You will need to sign in early and stay through the whole meeting until the public comment portion at the end. Each person is allowed up to 3 minutes to speak. Share your stories, your suggestions, and your demands that city council take steps to protect our community. If you are not a Lakewood resident, please come be a part of the audience and support our speakers. We will be keeping the speaking going as long as we can, so bring snacks and water.
