This a local Indivisible event!
Join us on Saturday, July 18th in Watkins Glen, NY from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM in honor of John Lewis. Our focus for this Honk and Wave will be on getting out the vote. We will stand in front of the Schuyler County Courthouse with our flags and signs encouraging our friends and neighbors to exercise their right to vote. Emphasis will be on the following:
1. Voting in a free and fair election
2. Getting people out to vote
3. Creating change at the midterms
We will have voter registration forms available for anyone who needs to register to vote.
As usual, we will have a food drive to support one of our local food pantries. Please bring non perishable food items to help our neighbors. We will also have beverages available. If you need a chair, please bring one.
