Coming up quick! Â Weekend of Good Trouble July 18 – 20! Â This is a nationwide wide event that features three approaches to activism — REACH, PREACH and TEACH
July 20th’s event will provide a learning opportunity , with speakers, a movie, and music. Speakers will include people who were there, the actual foot soldiers from the 1964 civil rights movement speaking from Birmingham, Alabama, as well as Snohomish County Auditor Garth Fell talking about local election integrity. Edmonds Resistance Singers will share a couple of songs, and the documentary “Good Trouble” about the life and legacy of civil rights icon John Lewis will be shown.
