ICE, Justice & Ohio Communities: Panel Discussion

Community Panel: Behind the Headlines — ICE, Justice & Ohio Communities
Immigration enforcement is shifting quickly in Ohio, and the effects are being felt in neighborhoods across our region. Join us on Wednesday, February 18 at the Akron Public Library (Main Branch Auditorium) for a timely and accessible community conversation about ICE activity, public safety, and how these changes shape the lives of our neighbors. Doors open at 5:30 pm; program runs 6:00–7:30 pm.

A panel of leading advocates, legal experts, and organizers will break down what’s happening on the ground, the real impact on families, and the practical steps community members can take to stay informed and offer support. Whether you’re new to the issue or already engaged, you’ll leave with clarity, insight, and concrete ways to get involved.
