‣ How to save our democracy…and so much more!
We have created THE CONVERSATION as an audience-led space for reflection and conversation about the daily US atrocities and the crumbling of our democracy and our Rule-Of-Law.
We share our thoughts about the continuing chaos and destruction our country, while exploring ideas on how to move forward effectively.
This gathering is non-partisan and open to all. People of all backgrounds, beliefs, and political affiliations are welcome. The focus of THE CONVERSATION is humanitarian, moral, and grounded in shared human dignity.
There will be no featured speakers and no formal program. Instead, THE CONVERSATION centers the voices of those who attend. Community members are invited to speak from their seats (arranged in a circle to encourage talking to each other), sharing how they feel about the upending of our freedoms.
This is a space to:
• Speak truth
• Use your voice
• Sit with one another in reflection and conversation
What to Expect:
• Indoor, seated in a circle
• Quiet, respectful atmosphere
• Community sharing (voluntary)
• No microphones or amplification
• No chanting
What This Is / Is Not:
✔ Conversation, ✖ not a protest
✔ Non-partisan and community-centered
✔ Open and welcoming to all
✔ A space for shared humanity
✖ Not a rally or boring meeting
All are welcome who come in the spirit of respect, reflection, and care for one another.
