Event Description:
This is a community-led ICE OUT vigil, held inside the sanctuary of All Saints Episcopal Church—created as a space for reflection, shared grief, witness, and collective care.
This gathering is non-partisan and open to all. People of all backgrounds, beliefs, and political affiliations are welcome. The focus of this vigil is humanitarian, moral, and grounded in shared human dignity.
There will be no featured speakers and no formal program. Instead, the vigil centers the voices of those who attend. Community members are invited—if they choose—to stand and speak from the pulpit or from their seats, sharing how they feel about ICE enforcement practices, including detention, deportation, family separation, brutality, and loss of life.
This is a space to:
• Speak names
• Speak truth
• Bear witness together
• Sit with one another in reflection and care
A light facilitation will help maintain a respectful, grounded flow, but the vigil itself belongs to the community.
What to Expect:
• Indoor, seated vigil
• Quiet, respectful atmosphere
• Community sharing (voluntary)
• No microphones or amplification
• No chanting or movement outside the sanctuary
What This Is / Is Not:
✔ A vigil, ✖ not a protest
✔ Non-partisan and community-centered
✔ Open and welcoming to all
✔ A space for moral witness and shared humanity
✖ Not a rally or planning meeting
All are welcome who come in the spirit of respect, reflection, and care for one another.
