    ### Ready to Resist?
**Remember a time when you said “No” to authority.** (maybe many years ago; maybe yesterday)
What happened? __ How did it feel in your body? __ Did that action change your relationship to that person/institution? __ What did you learn about yourself? __

**There are so many good examples from World War II. Occupied by the Nazis, the Danes resisted fascism, and so can we.**
Many Danes tried keeping their head down, staying quiet at first. That didn’t work. (It never does) These commandments, authored by a 17yr old resistance member, with simple, everyday moral commandments for Danes caught fire. It was copied by hand, whispered neighbor to neighbor, wheat pasted on walls. Five years of collective non-cooperation through the 1945 collapse of the Nazis, delivered a renewed Denmark with strong sense of community and commitment to social justice.
    ### Let’s build our own Oregon Non-Cooperation State of Mind
Here’s some **ideas we’ve heard so far** from our organizers and activists
Which of these would you endorse?
**Please share your ideas and suggestions** – this is grassroots work in progress. We’ll continue to post and share

    – Protect those targeted by the regime – call the PIRC hotline, act as an observer, accompany and/or deliver for threatened people
    – Publicly mock the regime, make fun of them
    – Everyday I leave the house, I wear a protest button, sparking conversation and keeping the issue top-of-mind.
    – Do not shop with corporate enablers and collaborators – Home Depot, Target, Amazon, Hilton, ________
    – Support local small business, and build buy-nothing local mutual aid networks
    – Join walkouts, economic shut-downs, no work, no school, no shopping days.
    – Know our neighbors – make eye contact, have conversation, organize together
    – Put a Mexican flag on your car – to distract, waste ICE time.
    – Use cash – withhold your data, slow consolidation of wealth
    – Reject everyday surveillance – support companies that value and invest in privacy
    – Make connections; build my activist network
    – Know My Rights
    – Build My Strike Fund
