Join Indivisible Akron and friends for the launch of our Movie Club at the Main Library in downtown Akron. We will be meeting in conference room 2AB located on the High St. level.
Movie selections will focus on issues of social justice and democracy.
The first movie to be reviewed is the 2014 drama “Selma” about the 1965 Selma to Montgomery voting rights march.
Expect a welcoming crowd of movie enthusiasts with plans to meet quarterly on the first Tuesdays.
“Selma” is available to watch in advance via the library on DVD or the its free streaming service – www.kanopy.com
Proposed discussion items will be forwarded to registered attendees.
