Join the nationwide day of solidarity with Minnesota.
Friday, January 23 is a National Day of Solidarity and push for corporate accountability led by Minnesota organizers and national allies.
Join us as we read and discuss our founding documents in order to firmly ground ourselves within these texts and become more effective citizens and participants in democracy.
Our meetings are dialogue based, so please come prepared to share your thoughts and ideas.
We are a small group of folks reading our founding texts in chronological order: The Declaration of Independence, The US Constitution, The Montana Constitution.
We determine our reading assignments prior to the next meeting. At the meeting, we will read aloud and discuss the text.
Books are available for people, as well.
Please join us as we explore our foundation documents and enjoy each other’s company. This event is free and open to the public. Invite your friends, as well.
*A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
